CasaDelCabo is surrounded by a rich culture, friendly people and an amazing array of activities.
On the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula are the two resort towns of San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas known jointly as Los Cabos or 'The Capes'. The 40 kilometer corridor between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas known as the Golden Corridor has many beautiful beaches for swimming and snorkeling as well as some excellent golf courses.
A Little About Los Cabos
San Jose del Cabo is a small colonial town which dates back to the 1700's and is a clean and somewhat quiet place to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Cabo San Lucas once was a tiny fishing village but is now slightly larger than San Jose and has a more hectic pace.
Activities and Fun for Everyone
Los Cabos has something for everyone. There is a variety of activities such as the world renowned deep sea fishing, swimming, scuba diving, snorkelling, surfing, kayaking, golf, sunset cruises, glass bottom boat tours, ATV tours, arts & crafts, and shopping in the numerous markets - the silver jewelry and fire opals here are especially beautiful.
There are dining choices for all tastes and budgets, the seafood in particular is fabulous and fresh caught in local waters.
For the adults there is a very active nightlife with a variety of nightclubs and bars in the downtown area.
A Climate to Enjoy
The mild subtropical desert climate of Los Cabos has 350 sunny days on average a year, summer months are hot and somewhat humid, other months are sunny, dry and warm with evenings tempered by the cooling ocean breezes. The Sea of Cortez water temperature seldom drops below 22 C or 72 F.
